LAHORE: Maids robbed the mother of legendary cricketer Wasim Akram in Lahore and managed to flee.
According to the details, the maids mixed drugs in a drink and served it to Wasim’s mother and as she fell unconscious they robbed Gold jewelry and cash worth around one million rupees. Wasim’s mother lived alone in Garden Town, Shar Shah. She hired two maids, Iman and Fatima three days ago.
Garden Town police lodged case against the maids and launched investigations.
