Major Outbreak Of HIV Positive Cases Reported In Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Another major outbreak of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) was reported in Pakistan in the country’s third biggest city as a report by the Allied Hospital has revealed that the number of infected patients has been bumped to 2,500 in the district, AbbTakk news reported on Wednesday.

A massive outbreak of HIV positive has revealed in Faisalabad in a report issued by Allied Hospital.

According to the report, at least 2,300 are males and 296 are females among the infected patients in the district. However, most of the reported patients are drug addicts.

The report has further revealed that most of the cases are caused by the infected syringes and equipment of dental surgery. It also reported that at least 267 people have been died because of this deadly disease.
