FAISALABAD: A same number plate has been warded to two passenger buses owing to incompetence of excise department in Faisalabad.
Source said that it is revealed a private transport company has been using non-custom vehicles in Faisalabad which has influence and political backing due to which action is not taken against the illegal vehicles.
Police sources said that it received information from intelligence agencies that two buses having same number plate have been existed in the limits of police station of Peoples colony.
It is also informed to police that the buses worth of million of rupees are not registered and have been using bogus number plates.
Police after getting tip-of has taken custody of a bus having fake number plate while the police further investigate the matter.
