Islamabad (July 30, 2018): President of Maldives had a telephonic conversation with chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan.
President of Maldives Abdullah Yameen has congratulated Chairman PTI Imran Khan over his victory in the general elections and expressed his best wishes for Imran khan. Chairman PTI Imran Khan thanked Maldivian President for his good wishes for Pakistan.
Yesterday, Afghan president congratulated him over his victory in the 2018 General Election has invited PM-elect Imran Khan to visit Kabul. PTI Chairman Imran Khan has accepted Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani’s invitation to visit Kabul.

She also discussed about 1997, when Imran Khan was new to politics and he contested in elections for the first time, and she called him to inquire about election results and Imran joked to her that they had a clean sweep.
The cricket community also flooded Imran Khan’s social media with congratulatory messages after results declared his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), as the winner in general election 2018.
Current and former cricketers from Pakistan and the world over took to social media to congratulate the cricketer-turned-politician, who succeeded after more than two decades of political struggle.
