Attock (November 6, 2017): A number of renowned individuals are expected to announce Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf during show of its political might at Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan Hockey Stadium (Lalazar Ground) here later today. PTI had staged a public rally yesterday at Obaro.
All preparations for PTI’s public rally today have been completed.
Meanwhile, chairman PTI Imran Khan reached Bhawalpur from Obaro this morning where he, Jehangir Tarin, and Fawad Chaudhary had breakfast at a local hotel.
According to PTI sources Imran and other central leaders of PTI will address the public rally. Former district nazim Major (r) Tahir Sadiq will announce to join PTI formally along with his entire major group, sources informed.
It may be mentioned here that Major (r) Tahir is a distinguished personality not only in the division but across the entire province. He hails from a political family and has been elected twice as Zila nazim and member of provincial assembly once.
His late father Sardar Muhammad Sadiq Khan as well as mother were elected member of provincial assembly twice. His daughter Iman Tahir is the current chairperson of Zila council while his son Zain Illahi is a Member of National Assembly. A member of his group Sardar Mahmood Khan advocate has been elected chairman Zila council twice and a senator once.
MPA Ijaz Bukhari, who is a member of Major Tahir Group since 1983, was elected chairman Zila council Attock. His father Sardar Sadiq Khan has also been elected chairman zila council Attock in the past.
