LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz and her husband captain (Retd.) Safdar on Friday filed plea in Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking the removal of their names from Exit Control List (ECL).
This is the second plea filed by the PML-N Vice-President and her husband seeking to reinstate previous one which LHC had dismissed after the counsel failed to keep up with the follow-ups of case hearings.
In his petition, the counsel said that he was unable to appear before the court due to heart attack, therefore, the plea must be reinstated.
“Complete cooperation is being done with National Accountability Bureau (NAB). Putting the names on ECL is an utter violation of human rights”, plea stated.
Moreover, government memorandum was also clubbed with the plea.
