LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has reiterated her accusation onto National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of adapting a bias attitude.
The PML-N Vice-President on Thursday paid a visit to the residence of former railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique.
She sympathized with the family of fellow party leaders over the rejection of their bail pleas by Lahore High Court (LHC) in a NAB reference.
Talking to media after visiting the PML-N leaders’ home, Maryam Nawaz alleged the Anti-graft body for turning a blind eye towards certain individuals.
“NAB is able to view leaders of PML-N from far off, whereas it leaves sister of incompetent prime minister [PM Imran Khan] Aleema Khan just by giving her a fine, although she had pleaded guilty”, Maryam said.
She also shed light on her meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, saying that both leaders discussed removal of Senate Chairman and few other significant issues.
