LAHORE: Daughter of the former premier Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday strongly condemned the horrific incident of a blast in Quetta that claimed the lives of four police officials.
Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter and shared her grievance over the loss of innocent lives in a blast Balochistan’s capital Quetta.
She wrote on her timeline; “Extremely distressing news from Quetta.”

“Deaths and serious injuries reported. May Allah have mercy on Pakistan,” she added.
A day earlier, at least four police personnel were martyred and eight others injured in an explosion in Satellite town area of Quetta.
According to the initial reports, the blast occurred near a police van and later sounds of intense firing are being heard.
Security officials have arrived at the area and cordoned it off. The injured are being shifted to the Civil Hospital, where an emergency has been imposed.
The DIG Abdul Razzaq Cheema said that two policemen and seven civilians have also been injured in the blast, while a police van was also damaged.
