The mastermind, shooter, of Mashal Khan murder case Imran has been arrested, said police.
The DIG police Mardan Mohammad Alam Shinwari said in a press conference that after getting information from already arrested accused the master mind, who shoot Mashal Khan, Imran was arrested. He was Mashal ‘s class fellow and student of same university’s journalism department.
“During the initial investigation and interrogation that we conducted, Imran admitted his crime,” Shinwari added.
DIG police said that police was reviewing each aspect of the case as Imran admitted he had fired on Mashal Khan.
“Keeping in view the significance of the case police has submitted the investigation report in SC twice,” DIG said adding that the case is being conducted on professional grounds and some of the information being shared with media.
Mashal, 23, a student of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan (AWKUM) was shot and beaten to death by a violent mob on university premises on April 13.
