LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) judges, who were hearing money laundering case, have forwarded their separate written verdicts on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif’s bail to the court’s office.
According to sources, the LHC Chief Justice Qasim Khan will send the decisions to referee judge till April 20.
Justice Asjad Javed in his dissenting note stated that fellow judge had approved the bail of Shehbaz Sharif despite his refusal whereas Justice Sarfraz Dogar told that the bail was granted on mutual consent.
Earlier, the release of Shehbaz Sharif on bail in money laundering case was halted after one of the judges hearing the matter raised objection.
LHC judge Justice Asjad Javed had expressed disagreement over the ruling of granting bail to PML-N leader.
