ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said media should show responsibility regarding news stories of national interest.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad the PMSA said that we can tell the world through the power of the media that Pakistan has changed.
She said that we have to look through problems of the masses through the lens of the media adding that the journalists guide the government for country’s stability, power and development adding that the media is the sources of guidance for the masses.
When the PTI took charge of the government the economy of the country was ruined adding that now the situation has been changed and new industries are being planted and increasing the investment in the country, she added.
The PMSA said that the media should highlight the positive image of the country keeping in mind the national interests adding that any state can’t be powerful without the power of the media.
