Medical Board Clears Reports of Nawaz Sharif

Rawalpindi (July 24, 2018): A medical board formed to ascertain the health of the Former PM, Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday that health of former PM is satisfactory his all reports all clear.

During their visit, which lasted approximately 2.5 hours, the doctors conducted another check-up of the premier. They also carried out medical tests and briefed Nawaz on his medical condition, sources said.

Blood samples of the incarcerated leader would be sent to a laboratory, they added.

The medical board also apprised the jail administration of Nawaz’s condition and instructed the authorities to monitor his vitals including blood pressure and sugar levels at regular intervals.

Nawaz Sharif Has No Major Ailment: Medical Report

Earlier on Monday, the laboratory report of blood and urine tests of former premier Nawaz Sharif came normal.

The medical report asserts that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo is not suffering from any severe kind of pain. In the light of the tests’s report, the four-member medical board has recommended Nawaz Sharif to continue taking the medicines advised to him by his personal doctors.The medical board advised Sharif to take healthy diet and not to take tension.

Sources further stated that several others blood and ECO tests of Nawaz Sharif will be carried out tomorrow. The four-member medical board will examine Nawaz Sharif once more.

Dr Azhar Kiani and Dr Hamid Sharif Khan, who carried out the medical examination of the PML-N supremo, requested that Nawaz Sharif be shifted to a cardiology institute in Rawalpindi.

Mamnoon Directs PM To Ensure Complete Treatment to Nawaz Sharif

Earlier on Monday, the President Mamnoon Hussain telephoned interim prime minister Nasirul Mulk on Monday and expressed concern over the deteriorating health of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Adyala Jail.

According to details president, Mamnoon Hussain directed the caretaker prime minister to make sure all possible treatment facility to the former prime minister.

“All required treatment facilities should be provided to Nawaz Sharif,” president directed caretaker government.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir PM Farooq Haider and Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafeezur Rehman also expressed concern over Nawaz’s health and requested the caretaker government to ensure he is provided the best medical treatment.

Shehbaz Sharif Expressed ConcernsEarlier no, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Monday pleaded to the caretaker government to shift Nawaz to a hospital in line with the medical board’s report.

He expressed concerns on ailment of Nawaz Sharif in Adyala Jail and complaint that despite request time and again for medical facilities to former prime minister, jail administration deprived him off form basic necessities.

“I appeal once again to the caretaker government to shift Nawaz to a hospital based on the medical board’s report,” Shehbaz said while adding that he has serious concerns regarding Nawaz’s health worsening in jail.

The former Punjab chief minister added, “It is the jail administration’s responsibility to provide basic medical facilities to Nawaz.”The PML-N president upheld that jail authorities “deprived Nawaz of basic facilities despite repeated requests”.

Shehbaz also questioned, “Why wasn’t I or anyone in my family informed that Nawaz wasn’t feeling well?”

Stating that he requested the caretaker premier and Punjab chief minister to provide a personal physician to Nawaz, the PML-N president lamented, “But they ignored my appeal.”
