Islamabad (November 08, 2018): A major scam has been revealed in National Saving Schemes (NSS) as FIA initiated an inquiry against the culprits on Thursday.
According to details, corrupt employees of the institution have allegedly made misappropriation of Rs 200 million.
The scam revealed when FIA found disappearance of 10-year maturity of certificate and 1200 SC-one 1200 forms of special and regular income certificate.
The indulged employees of the institution had transferred 100 million rupees to their family members and the remaining amount had also been withdrawn by using other unfair means.
It is not the first time the mega corruption revealed in NSS as three other incidents had also been reported in the past as director general NSS confirmed the alleged involvement of employees in corruption.
During the probe, the indulged employees of the NSS have admitted the scam of Rs 100.40 million while amount worth 90.43 million have been recovered so far.
