Web Desk (June 15, 2018): Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted light rain during Eid-ul Fitr and heavy rains in parts of the country from Friday to Thursday.
According to Met office, rain-thundershower with gusty winds/duststorm is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Spell of pre-monsoon is also expected in first week of July.Earlier today, residents of various areas of the city experienced light drizzle early Friday morning, a few hours after the last sehri of the holy month of Ramazan.
The weather turned pleasant and multiple areas of the metropolis, including I.I. Chundrigar Road, Nazimabad, University Road, Mosamiyat, and Gulistan-e-Johar, welcomed light rain.
