ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather in different parts of the country for the next 24 hours.
The Met Office said that monsoon winds are likely to enter the country from the upper and central areas due to which in the coming days, rain and wind-thunderstorms are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Upper Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and Kashmir.
A land sliding is also expected in Hazara, Malakand, GB, and Kashmir due to heavy rains in the next four to five days.
On Wednesday, rain hit some parts of KP, GB and Punjab. The heaviest rainfall recorded on Thursday was 35 millimetres in Dir. Meanwhile, the highest temperature recorded on Wednesday was 41°C in Shaheed Benazirabad and Nokandi.
