Met Office Predicts Shawwal Moon Sighting on May 24

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (Met) has forecast that there are bright chances of moon sighting for Eid-ul-Fitr on May 24.

Forecasting the new moon sighting the Met department said that moon of Shawwal 1441 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 22:40 Pakistan Standard Time (PST) on May 22.

In a statement, the Met Department said that the Shawwal moon is most likely to be sighted on Sunday, May 24 and the Eid ul Fitr will fall on Monday, May 25.
