Karachi: Army Chief vows terrorists will be wiped out at any cost

The military and political leadership has agreed to continue Rangers operation in Karachi and unbiased action against the workers of political parties who are involved in terrorism while Army Chief vowed to end terrorists at any cost.

The meeting was held in core commanders headquarter Karachi and attended by Army Chief Raheel Sharif, corps commander Karachi Lt General Naveed Mukhtar, interior minister Chaudhary Nisar, Chief minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and other military and political leadership including and decided to take every possible step to restore peace in the city.

Addressing to meeting Army Chief General Raheel Sharif  vowed that the operation against terrorists would continue to its logical end.

“The network of terrorists’ sympathizers, facilitators and financial supporters will be dismantled, therefore the Karachi operation will be continued without any hurdle,” he emphasized law enforcement agencies did not put in vain the success got in operation.

According to sources IG sindh police also directed to speed up action against terrorists as meeting also decided to make all out efforts to arrest Amjad Sabir’s killers and for the recovery of the son of Snidh High Court Chief Justice, Ovais Shah.

The DG Rangers Bilal Akbar has briefed the meeting regarding the law and order situation in the city.
