ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has dropped a big bomb on the people after announcing to increase sales tax on 313 commodities and gave a unique logic that increase in taxes will not increase inflation.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has announced to increase sales tax on 313 commodities and said that increase in taxes and duties will not affect the public.
According to details, five to 10 percent regulatory duty has been increase on daily consumer use products. Women makeup and food items will also be expensive, additional tax would be levied on cigarettes, duty will also be levied on luxury vehicles and imported goods.
