ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Religious Affairs released Hajj Policy 2019 on Tuesday as applications will be received from February 25 to March 6 while balloting will be held on March 8.
According to the ministry, 184,210 nationals will perform Hajj rituals this year including 107,000 from government’s scheme and 71,410 from private scheme.
Hajj expenses for south region will be Rs436,975 (without Qurbani) while Rs426,975 expenses will be paid by pilgrims going to perform Hajj from north region. Qurbani expenses will be Rs19,451 that would be paid separately.
The ministry fixed 10,000 quota for the unsuccessful persons in Hajj balloting while 10,000 quota was also fixed persons aged above 80 years.
