PESHAWAR: A minor girl died on Tuesday of snake bite in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohmand district as nearby hospitals failed to administer her anti-snake venom vial.
According to details, the snake bit the girl when she was playing outside her home in Yaka Ghund area of Malakand.
As soon as the snake bit the minor girl, the parents bring her to the Yaka Ghund hospital where duty doctors said they had no anti-snake venom vial.
The family then took the victim to the Shabqadar Hospital where they also could not find the vial.
When her condition deteriorated, the duty doctor referred the girl to the Peshawar hospital but she died on way to the hospital.
