Captain of Pakistan Test squad Misbah-ul-Haq has credited his bowlers for winning the second Test against West Indies yesterday at Abu Dhabi. Pakistan leads the three-match series two-nil with the third and the last match to be played from October 30 at Sharjah.
Hailing his bowlers Misbah said that they had put all they have to win the matches on the pitches that were slow and favored batsmen.
Pakistan had won the second Test yesterday with 133 runs at Abu Dhabi and it was its eighth straight against the West Indies- all the three ODI matches, all three T-20 matches and two Test matches.
I am thankful to almighty Allah. It wasn’t easy; I mean, on wickets like these getting 20 wickets is always a big challenge, and I think the bowlers just lived up to the expectations, Misbah said.
Praising his bowlers Misbah added that they, Yasir Shah in particular, worked extremely. The fast bowlers also contributed well and I think that getting 20 wickets on this pitch was a big achievement indeed, he added.
