Islamabad(March 23, 2018): Former captain Misbah ul Haq, Younus Khan and Shahid Afridi will be awarded Sitara e Imtiaz in President House Islamabad Today.
The govt of Pakistan has decided to award Sitara e Imtiaz to four cricketers including former captain Shahid Afridi, Misbah ul Haq, Younus Khan, and present Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Younus Khan is remarkable for his captaincy in T20 world cup 2009 while Shahid Afridi has been awarded man of the match in the semi-final and final of the series.
Pakistan test team possessed world top ranking in the captaincy of Misbah ul Haq for the first time in the history while Sarfaraz has brought the champions trophy in Pakistan in 2017 in the toughest era of Pakistan when the country is deprived of watching cricket and team is of playing in home ground.
Pakistan civil awards will be presented to 152 personalities who contributed to the country in a distinctive way.
Junaid Jamshed, Amjad Fareed Sabri, and Aasma Jahangir also will be awarded in the deceased category In the same ceremony.
Four singers also will be awarded president award along with comedian Aman Ullah.
