PESHAWAR: A Divisional Bench of Peshawar High Court headed by Chief Justice, Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel has said that while the government is crying hoarse over military courts the reports are not being submitted at the courts. He made the comments while hearing a case pertaining to missing persons.
When the hearing of the case started in the Court the Deputy Attorney General and Additional Advocate General as well as the incharge of detention centre in Lukki Marwat appeared before the Court. Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Mazhar Alam Miankhel directed them to submit the report about missing persons at the earliest.
People are being called to police stations and then arrested, may Allah have mercy on this country, the Chief justice further commented.
The Court also directed Commissioner of Bannu to submit report over missing persons.
