KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday sought an answer from to the Federal Government, DG Rangers Sindh, Secretary of Interior and others to seek an answer in a case pertaining to missing persons till May 29.
As per details, SHC heard a case pertaining to the case on a petition filed by the family of a missing person Muhammad Sadiq who hailed from Karachi District.
The case was filed by the wife of Muhammad Sadiq.
According to the petitioner, his husband Muhammad Sadiq was abducted on May 11 from his home by the Rangers officials. The petitioner also told the court that his son Muhammad Ashraf was also abducted by the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) back in 2018.
The recently abducted Muhammad Sadiq had filed a petition seeking to retrieve his son who was retrieved later.
The retrieved son of the Sadiq, Muhammad Ashraf also filed a harassment complaint upon his recovery.
All the three petitions are under hearing in the SHC.
The court, however, has sought an answer from the federal government, DG Rangers Sindh and others. Notices have been issued in this regard.
