The mobile phone service will be suspended around the area of 10km of General Headquarters, Rawalpindi, on the eve of defence day, September 6.
City administration has decided to suspend cell phone service during ceremonies on the ever of Defence Day to avert any untoward incident while security has also been put on high alert.
The mobile phone service will be suspended from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm around the GHQ.
