Islamabad (Sep 6, 2017): An accountability court on Wednesday sentenced Molvi Khan Muhammad to four years in prison for his involvement in Modaraba scandal and imposed a fine of Rs5 million.
Accountability court judge Nisar Baig announced its verdict in Modaraba scandal after hearing concluding arguments of defence counsel and prosecutors.
The court awarded prison sentence of four year to Molvi Khan Muhammad after prosecution proved its case against him. The court also imposed a fine of Rs5 million on him.
The accountability court declared the convict sons Abdullah and Muhammad Quaid as proclaimed offender in the case.
The convict was tried for looting millions of rupees from people in the garb of Islamic investment.
