Modi Wants Isolation of Pakistan On World Level: Shah Mahmood Qureshi

MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday said it is the first time that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has declared continued atrocities in Occupied Kashmir as the state terrorism.

Talking to media in Multan tea house, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan sensed b that Modi would do any action targeting Pakistan before upcoming elections in India while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted to isolate Pakistan on the world level with a well-thought plan but it is his misunderstanding that he could do so.

The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan will remain on the world map until end of this world while the crest and trough are the part of the nation.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that relations of the country got better with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf led government while relations with the USA is going to take a new turn soon.

He said that diplomatic relations with Afghanistan, Russia and Iran are improved as well in the same way.

Qureshi said that peace in Afghanistan is in the interest of Pakistan while Pakistan needed better relations with Iran.

He said that there is no danger to China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as Pakistan has signed an agreement of CPEC two as well through which poverty will be addressed.

The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan wanted peace but it did not mean at all that it wanted to broker a business deal on Kashmir adding that if he was foreign minister of Indian then he would not able to sleep at night.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed happiness that unity existed between the opposition and the government over a tense situation with India.

“First time in my political career I am witnessing the passion of 1965 war.” he said.
