ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday accepted Abdul Ghani Majeed, the son of Omni Group tycoon Anwar Majeed, seeking amendment in his plea against his arrest.
The IHC division bench comprises of justice Amri Farooq and justice Mohsin Kiyani heard the case.
During the hearing, investigative officers told the court that the accused has been arrested since February 7, however, he was not handed over the NAB.
Justice Amir Farooq remarked that NAB official can conduct the inquiry to approaching him in jail.
The counsel of the appellant told the court that the case in which his client was named had no relation as his plot a kilometre far away from the disputed Nahre Khyam, therefore client wanted to amend his bail plea.
Court has approved his plea to amend his bail plea, which was submitted by the court earlier.
Abdul Ghani Majeed had filed a plea in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on February 13 against issuance of his arrest warrants by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
