ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that money laundering would have been ended from the country if Sharif family had not granted NRO.
Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry called on Prime Minister Imran Khan wherein political situation in the country deliberated upon including matters of the media industry and others.
At the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that if Musharraf had not granted NRO to Sharif family in the Hudubiya case and the case was decided on the merit than money laundering would have been ended completely from the country but unfortunately the NRO granted in the Hudabiya case used in all the future cases as a model.
Prime Minister said that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari led corruption brought this kind of the model adding that masses should be informed about all the misdoings of these politicians through use of media so that people could see their real face.
he said share the details with public, who are facing price hike and foreign debt, through media and expose those who are misleading the nation.
Imran Khan said that the existing government has made laws under procedures under the banner of benami laws which will help to prevent money laundering and discourage the building of properties on someone other names.
