Moon Sighted, 1st Shaban on April 7 in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The moon of Shaban has been sighted and the first Shaban will be on April 7, Sunday.

A meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee presided over by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman has held at Pakistan Meteorological Department building in Karachi on Saturday for sighting the crescent of Shaban-ul-Moazzam.

The Shab-e-Baraat will be observed on April 20.

The meetings of the Zonal/ District Ruet-e-Hilal committees held at their respective headquarters. The members of the committee will attend the meetings of Zonal and District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees at their respective places.

The meeting of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) committee has also conducted at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, near the General Post Office (GPO) Islamabad.

The Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman formally announced the decision saying the first Shaban will be on April 7, 2019.
