LAHORE: The opposition has submitted a motion in Punjab assembly seeking lifting ban over the calling PM Imran as selected PM.
The member Punjab assembly of PML-N Uzma Zahid Bukhari has submitted the motion demanding to lift the ban for calling selected PM.
The resolution said that the ban calling PM as selected PM is a condemnable act as in the past the elected prime ministers were called non-parliamentary names.
“The selected PM Imran had hurled the cures on parliament thrice in a public meeting and the elected representatives were made satirical, and now the puppet government wanted to shut the mouths of the opposition,” it stated.
The motion further mentioned that by banning the world selected PM Imran will not come elected PM and opposition can only end to use word selected after holding of fair and free polls.
