The court reserved its verdict on Achakzai bail application. Next hearing of the case will be held on July 15, 2017.
Achakzai was arrested in a hit-and-run case on June 24 after the CCTV footage of the accident went viral on social media and mainstream media.
The MPA, on June 20, ran over and killed traffic sergeant Haji Attaullah at Quetta’s GPO Chowk resulting in his death.
Following his arrest in the traffic sergeant cases, two other decade-old cases of kidnapping for ransom and murder emerged against the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) lawmakers. He was also arrested in these cases too and is on judicial remand.
