Karachi (September 3, 2017): The senior leader of MQM Pakistan Khawaja Izharul Hassan denounced the murder attempt against him and said that such kind of attacks could not be ended MQM, however the motive behind the attack yet to ascertain.
Talking to media outside his residence in Karachi, Izhar said that several motive can be possible behind attack on him and all information have been handed over to the law enforcement agencies.
“I never met even saw the alleged accused in past,” he said.
He sets aside motive that such kind of attacks aimed to end MQM and said that murder attempt could only caused the loss of personality temporarily buy could not damaged the entire party.
Earlier, Chairman Senate called him via phone and inquire health after and congratulate Eid. He ensured his full support in this connection.
On September 2, four assailants on two motorcycles had opened fire on the MQM-P leader as he left the mosque after offering Eid-ul-Azha prayer yesterday morning. One of the assailants was killed in shootout with police chased them, but the other managed to escape. A child, as well as one of Hassan’s security guards, succumbed to their wounds.
