ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan says early completion of ongoing federal development projects in Karachi and timely commencement of announced projects is one of the top priorities of the government.
Talking to the Members of National Assembly from Muttahida Qaumi Movement, who called on him in Islamabad today, he said the government is taking bold steps to solve the problems of the people of Karachi.
The Prime Minister said federal government is ensuring timely disbursement of funds as per NFC award and fair distribution of provincial funds by the Sindh government is also essential in this regard.
During the meeting, Imran Khan was apprised of the progress on development projects in Karachi.
Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Member National Assembly Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Senator Faisal Sabzawari were also present during the meeting.
