Web Desk (July 23, 2018): Muthaida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan(MQM-P) will hold a public gathering at Liaquatabad today to attract voters just before the end of the election campaign.
On the other hand, an alliance of Religious Parties (MMA) will show its political strength in Islamabad today just before the end of the electoral campaign.
General polls will be held on July 25. Leaders of MMA will address the gathering.
Earlier on Sunday, President Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Maulana Fazlur Rehman says if voted to power, the religious parties’ alliance will work for establishing a true Islamic welfare society.
Addressing a public meeting at Batkhela in Malakand district, he said MMA will also provide all basic facilities to the people, including health, education, jobs and shelter.Maulana Fazlur Rehman said special attention will be paid to development of Malakand district.
Addressing the meeting, another leader of MMA Siraj-ul-Haq said if voted to power, the alliance will convert the country into an Islamic welfare state.
Earlier, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) senior leader Amir Khan on Sunday said that the future of Karachi belongs to MQM-P and the people will vote for the party in upcoming general elections.
Talking to media after reviewing preparations for MQM-P public meeting in Liaquatabad today (Monday), Amir Khan said that the people of Karachi will vote for MQM-P on July 25.Aamir Khan further said that we entered the election campaign with our hands tied behind back.
He alleged that the MQM-P was not allowed to hold corner meeting in Karachi.He said that MQM-P’s flags are being removed from the city and raids are also being conducted to arrest our workers.
He said that today’s public meeting at the Liaquatabad will be the main power show of MQM-P in the city.
