Provincial minister for trade and industry Manzoor Wassan has said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM- Pakistan ) is with us adding that until Waseem Akhtar is in jail Arshad Vohra is Karachi mayor.
The minister inaugurated cleanliness drive in industrial zone of S.I.T.E for which Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has issued a grant of Rs 10 million.
Talking to media after the inauguration the CM said that efforts are under way to distribute justified basic resources including water, gas and others.
Manzoor Wasan said that anti-Pakistan slogans were raised back in 1984 and national flag was torched here but now political leadership and bureaucracy has decided that anti-Pakistan slogans will not be tolerated at all.
On a query, the minister said that until Waseem Akhtar is detained, Arhad Vohra will be mayor of Karachi till then.
