Involved in a murder of former Managing Director then (KESC) Shahid Hamid, Minhaj Qazi has recorded his confessional statement.
In the statement, Minhaj revealed that Muttahid Qaumi Movement (MQM) supremo Altaf Hussain had given orders of killing Shahid Hamid.
The accused had recorded his confessional statement under criminal act 164. He further revealed that “Saulat Mirza informed me that Nadeem Nusrat on telephone has instructed to kill Shahid Hamid.”
Minhaj said that after receiving the instructions Sohail Zaidi informed about Shahid Hamid home address and other details.
The former MQM headquarter 90 security in charge Minhaj said in the statement Saulat Mirza, Rashid Akhtar and Athar had taken part in the murder.
