Multan (October 30, 2017): The father of slain social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch on Monday said that my daughter was killed on the behest of Mufti Qavi.
Qandeel’s father – Muhammad Azeem told to court during hearing the Qandeel murder case in Multan that Mufti Qavi was responsible for his daughter’s murder and called for him to be punished.
During the hearing, police brought Qavi to the court to seek an extension in his physical remand. The police said they need to probe Qavi further and sought his remand for three more days.
Qavi has been in physical remand of the police for 11 days now after being arrested following his bail cancellation.
After reserving the decision, the court allowed a two-day extension in Mufti Qavi remand and adjourned the hearing until Nov 1.
Earlier, The police asked the Session Court to secure the details of bank accounts of arrested suspect Mufti Abdul Qavi.
It may be mentioned here that suspect’s three-day physical remand had expired at 12 midnight last night. The police has acquired suspect’s physical remand for 11 days in three phases.
