Lahore (May 09, 2017): The five year old Multan’s Amaan Fatima got fresh lease of life after successful open-heart surgery in a Lahore hospital. The expenses on the treatment was borne by Maryam Nawaz.
As per details, the daughter of a labourer from Multan Barkat Ali had hole in her heart and the poor family was unable to get their little angle treated due to abject poverty.
AbbTakk News raised the issue. The parents of the girl had appealed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz to get their daughter treated.
When the news was telecast on AbbTakk News, Maryam took notice and announced to treat the little girl.
The girl was called to Lahore and was admitted in Sharif Medical Complex. All the expenses incurred on the treatment were borne by Maryam Nawaz.
Doctors say that the girl had a hole in the heart and open-heart surgery was performed. The girl is recovering after the successful surgery.
Parents of the girl have thanked Prime Minister and Maryam Nawaz for the support.
