MULTAN: Baseball tournament was held for blind children in Multan.
The blind baseball tournament was held for the first time by the district management of Multan to promote sports in blind persons.
As many as five teams are taking part in the tournament which included Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, KP and Baluchistan.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Multan said that our special children shine like stars in our society and with these activities sense of deprivation among the disabled children could be removed.
The blind players taking part in the tournament said that such events will provide the opportunity to show their abilities.
The children who will show good performance will also be selected for matches going to be held in Italy.
