Multan: Gastro, Chickenpox Go Berserk

Multan (August, 2017): Gastroenteritis and chickenpox have gone completely berserk totally out of control  here.

Two-hundre-forty-seven patients suffering from gastro were admitted in various government hospitals here in a single day while another five patients infected by chickenpox were also admitted in various government hospitals during the same period.

According to hospital sources 115 people have also been discharged from the hospitals are getting treated.

The chickenpox patients are kept in isolation ward to avoid spread of the contagious disease. The blood samples of the infected patients have been sent to the laboratory for test.

It may be mentioned here that during the last few months gastro has gone really berserk and out of country here while chickenpox is also on the rise in recent weeks.
