Multan Metro Case: AC Approves 14 Day Remand of Six Officials

Karachi (September 14, 2018): Accountability court on Friday has approved 14 day physical remand of six officials in Multan metro bus corruption case.

According to details, National Accountability Bureau arrested six officials of Multan metro bus including chief engineer Sabir Khan, NAB presented officials before the AC.

Those who were remanded are Amant Ali, Riaz Hussain, Rana Waseem and Munam Saeed.Defense lawyer Shiekh Jamshed Hayat claimed that PTI government is politically victimizing the officials because they were employed by previous government.

NAB sources claimed that it has received important record from Multan Development Authority (MDA) and it is expected that more officials will be arrested.
