SRINAGAR: Hurriyat leader Musarat Alam was arrested over charges of waving Pakistani flag during protests lodged in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
Indian police arrested Hurriyat leader Musarat Alam from his house in Srinagar over imposition of charges for waving Pakistani flag in Jammu Kashmir.
Earlier, Masarat Alam was house arrested on April 16, 2016 (yesterday) post waving Green flag to demand Kashmir’s association with Pakistan.
Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) had pressurised Indian government by threatening to boycott cabinet session until arrest of Musarat Alam.
The case was filed under sections 120-B, 147, 341, 336 and 427 against Kashmiri leader in Budgam police station.
