ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected ex-army chief and president Pervez Musharraf petition seeking disposing of FIR related to Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case.
The IHC Chief Justice Athar Minullah announced the verdict after hearing arguments of both the sides while the court rejected Pervez Musharraf petition declaring it as a non maintainable.
It is pertinent to mention here a FIR had been registered against former army chief over killing Ghazi Abdul Rasheed in Lal Mosque operation back in 2007.
Former president and army chief had contacted to the IHC to dispose of the FIR against him.
