Mushtaq, Yasir, Shadab To Visit N.Waziristan For Talent Hunt

Web Desk (April 06, 2018): Former Test Cricketer and head coach National Cricket Academy Mushtaq Ahmad is going to North Waziristan along with Yasir Shah and Shahdab Khan for a talent hunt mission.

A four-member team, including two current stars Shadab Khan and Yasir Shah would join National Cricket Academy, coaches Mushtaq Ahmed and Ali Zia, to conduct trials of aspiring cricketers at Younis Khan Cricket Ground in Miranshah tomorrow.

In a video message, Mushtaq Ahmed lauded Pakistan military for restoring peace in the country particularly in North Waziristan.The selected players will be invited by PCB at the National Cricket Academy for the skill development camp.

Earlier, Mushtaq was joyful over return of International cricket to Pakistan. He said the entire credit goes to Pakistani security forces specially Pakistan Army for proving security to the visiting players and West Indies team.He said holding Pakistan Super League final in Karachi and T20 series against West Indies give message to the entire world that Pakistan is ready for hosting international cricket.

Under Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) we have a talent hunt mission, this year we will go to North Waziristan and Pakistan Army will be helping us. “We will hold trial sessions for the youth of North Waziristan.”
