Mushtaq Ahmed Honored With Asian Award

LONDON: Pakistan former leg spinner Mushtaq Ahmed awarded the prestigious Asian Award in a ceremony held at the UK today.

The leggie received an award for his pivotal role at the World Cup 1992, county cricket and England cricket.

“Deeply humbled and honored to receive the prestigious Asian Award. I am thankful to all the people for their love, prayers and unconditional support in this regard,” tweeted Mushtaq.

Ahmed represented Pakistan in 52 Tests and 144 One Day Internationals (ODIs) picking up 185 and 161 wickets, respectively. He has also served in various positions at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
