Lahore (September 11, 2019): Lawyers boycotted proceedings at all the lower courts here to register their protest against the genocide of and solidarity with Muslims in Myanmar.
The vice chairman of Pakistan Bar Council Ahsan Bhawan said that the lawyers would wear black arm band to register their protest against state-abetted barbaric ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims by Myanmar military and Buddhist majority.
Ahsan also demanded the government to expel Myanmar ambassador to protest the senseless barbaric massacre of Muslims in Myanmar.
The lawyers boycotted all proceedings to bring proceedings at all lower courts to a standstill.
