My Life Is Like an Open Book: Captain Safdar

Lahore (March 26, 2018): The son-in-law of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and member parliament Captain retired Safdar said that his life was like an open book as he never indulged in any kind of wrong doing in past.

In his reaction over NAB’s decision to probe him over assets beyond known means of sources, MNA said that he was being subjected to targeted for protection of Khatm-e-Nobouwat, however he would not withdraw from his demand at any cost.“My life is like an open book but NAB is continuously summoning him despite all documents have been given to NAB regarding corruption charges,” he mentioned.

He alleged that on his demand calling calling Wajid Zia, former head of Panama JIT, before committee he was targeted and cases are being registered against him as summoning him by NAB was the part of the plan.

NAB Orders Probe Against Safdar

The meeting has also decided to probe the assets beyond income of the former prime minister son-in-law captain retired Safdar on a complaint filed against him.NAB will probe the illegal transfer funds worth rupees two billion to captain Safdar from Cabinet Division under the PM Global Sustainable Development Goal Achievement project. The NAB will also conduct inquiry against him over allegedly getting 30 kanal of land and one Kanal home in Township Mansehra.
