Karachi (July 21, 2018): Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reached Karachi on Friday after completing a successful election campaign in central Punjab.
A large number of PPP leaders and workers were present at the airport to receive him. Soon after his arrival in Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto visited his constituency NA-246 in Lyari area.

Bilawal Bhutto was also accompanied by former Sindh chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Saeed Ghani and other PPP leaders.
During his brief address to the workers in Lyari, Bilawal said that the people of Lyari will repeat their history and vote for PPP in elections on July 25. He said that he started his campaign from Lyari and today he is again there.I want to eliminate the politics of hatred from Karachi as well as from the whole country,” he said. “I want to tell those forces who martyred BB and realized that PPP was over that the PPP is still alive today,” Bilawal said.
Bilawal said the PPP was the only party which was struggling for ending poverty, unemployment and illiteracy. He urged the people to vote for PPP to make the country prosperous and progressive.He said that he started his politics with a sole aim to accomplish the mission of his grand-father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and mother Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.
“My goal is serving the masses to raise their living standard,” he said and added, “My struggle is only for rights of the masses not for power,” Bilawal said.
Earlier addressing a press conference in Lahore, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Friday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf went into an electoral alliance with proscribed organisations against his party.
PPP chairman said that the nexus between banned organisation and the political parties is evident in Malir District of Karachi.
“We have to set red line against extremism in the politics,” he said. “We have to think what message we are giving to the world.”He added that the warm welcome he received from Karachi to Peshawar showed that there is still space of politics of issues in our democracy.
“There is hope for positive politics in the country,” he added.
The PPP leader said that his party will pursue politics of federation irrespective of the election result.
Bilawal said that the PML-N believes in selection rather than election, adding that the forthcoming polls should be transparent.“The election should not be made controversial by facilitating a few political parties and allies.”
Bilawal is scheduled to arrive in Karachi today to lead rallies in different areas of the metropolis.
