Myanmar army has gone berserk slaughtering dozens of Rohingya Muslims and torching hundreds of their houses in Rohingya villages western Rakhine State.
New satellite images released by Human Rights Watch yesterday show hundreds of buildings torched in a fresh cycle of violence against Rohingya Muslims.
Northern Rakhine, which is home to the Muslim Rohingya minority borders with Bangladesh, and has been under military lockdown after nine police were killed in surprise raids on border posts last month.
The latest slaughtering of Rohingya Muslims was carried out under the pretext of attacks by Rohingya Muslims in which according to Myanmar state media two soldiers and six Rohingya attackers were killed.
Myarmar state media claimed that some 60 attackers armed with guns, spears and knives attacked government troops yesterday morning.
